Struture of a typical consulting engagement:

  • Data and information about client is obtained upfront (structure, productivity, customer satisfaction, etc.) 
  • Lean Group arrives onsite for a 3-5 day initial visit (length depends on scope)
  • Conduct interviews of all leaders and selected staff
  • Assess physical layout (uses drawing, walk patterns, photos, etc.)
  • Observes workflow and processes in action - front-end through back-end
  • Provides lean and process improvement training to leaders and staff
  • Develops 2-3 improvement opportunities that staff participate in while onsite
  • Lean Group facilitates process improvement exercises
  • Lean Group identifies additional improvement opportunities
  • Lean Groups works with client to select prioritized improvement opportunities
  • Lean Group works with client to define success - selects goals and metrics
  • Detailed Executive Summary is provided
  • Detailed implementation plan is created
  • Lean Groups works directly with leaders and staff on implementation
  • Lean Group works closely with client to ensure measurable and lasting improvement
